Tour Itinerary
Departing from Noosa the trip goes across the Noosa river by ferry and immediately
onto the North Shore Beach. 65 kms of beach takes us to the coloured
sands of Rainbow beach and the shipwreck of the Cherry Venture. These
sites are not available on any other tour of this kind.
From the
township of Rainbow beach, where the final supplies are acquired the
trip moves further along the beach to Inskip Point to board the barge
for Fraser. The crossing will take 15 mins and once on Fraser will
proceed to Dilli Village, being the base camp for the next 2 nights.
Lunch is then taken in camp followed by a visit to one of the fresh
water lakes.

Over the three days you will expect to visit a few lakes
including lake Wabby (green lake), Birrabeen (the blue lake) and
Boomanjin (red lake). Visit the Maheno ship wreck and swim the waters of
Eli Creek. Walk in the rainforests of Central Station and indulge in
many other features of Fraser Island.
Plenty of time is provided to
relax and enjoy the pleasures. Lunch is taken on day 2 by the lakeside
and dinners under the stars by the camp fire at Dilli Village.
Breakfasts each day are continental. The itinery will also take in
Indian Head when accessible along the 75 mile beach. The trip will
